The Cobb County Board of Commissioners agreed last week to sell almost half an acre on Tower Road west of Roselane Street for $155,951 to RTP Properties.
Initially, the county sought to sell the property for $395,000 per acre, according to a Sept. 22 memo by County Manager David Hankerson.
That would be $158,000 for the two sites, totaling .4 acres.
However, the buyer wanted to pay $117,709 until counter offers were received by both sides.
McWhirter Realty will handle the sale for the county.
