The Cobb County Board of Commissioners voted Aug. 22 to pay $102,113 for two crime scene/evidence collection vehicles.

Fuel and maintenance are estimated to be $2,400 per vehicle each year.

Funding will come from the 2016 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax for the fully equipped vehicles that will be additions to the fleet.

The vehicles will be equipped with evidence collection kits, storage units and a writing desk.
