Cobb traffic alert: Water main break shutting down traffic
A water main break is causing a road closure in Acworth.
City police said on Facebook about 3 p.m. Friday that Lake Acworth Drive was completely closed at Cottage Oaks Drive.
“A water main break has jeopardized the integrity of the roadway,” cops said.

They suggested using I-75 ... at 3 p.m. ... on Friday ... in metro Atlanta.

Th Georgia Department of Transportation estimates it’ll take six hours to repair.
