Cobb traffic alert: Neighborhood road closed for emergency sewer fix

A neighborhood road in East Cobb will be closed for what’s expected to be a few hours Thursday.

Cobb County Commissioner JoAnn Birrell sent a note to those on her email list that an emergency sewer repair on Cedar Forks Drive is causing the closure.

She wrote that the road is expected to re-open after 5 p.m.

The closure is on the Cobb online traffic map., which is updated by the county.
