A Cobb County teenager was crowned the winner of the Drive Safe Atlanta PSA Contest featuring a 30-second television ad about seat belt safety.

Caleb Cheshire, 13, won $2,000 and filmed the TV spot with an Emmy Award-winning director and a broadcast class at Durham Middle School on Mars Hill Road in Acworth.

The Kennesaw teenager will be honored for his work on Wednesday, March 20 at the Atlanta International Auto Show where the video will debut. His 30-second message is expected to air across more than 170 television stations around the country in the spring.

The third-annual Drive Safe Atlanta contest is sponsored by the National Road Safety Foundation, which promotes safe driving behavior.
