Students and staff at Sanders Elementary School will run a lemonade stand Saturday to raise money for cancer research.

The event, at the school's fall festival and bike ride, was inspired by the book Alex's Amazing Lemonade Stand about a girl with cancer who died in 2004.

The kids will be selling lemonade from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1550 Anderson Mill Rd. in Austell, according to the Pennsylvania-based Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
