Cobb students receive military academy nominations

Congressman David Scott, D-GA, will host a ceremony on Saturday for 23 student nominees for appointment to military academies. Six of the students receiving nominations are from Cobb County.

The ceremony will feature the Chapel Hill High School Color Guard and speakers from the U.S. Air Force and Naval Academies. The students will receive nominations to attend the U.S. Naval, Military, Air Force and Merchant Marine academies.
