Cobb representative hosts ex-offender forum

State Representative Alisha Thomas Morgan, D-Austell, along with various community co-sponsors, will host a town hall meeting on Saturday about the challenges ex-offenders face when trying to reenter society.

The meeting will include expert panelists discussing the recent criminal just reform passed during the recent legislative session, link ex-offenders with community resources and feature personal testimonies from ex-offenders.

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to noon at Destiny World Church, 7400 Factory Shoals Road in Austell.
