Cobb reopens Sweat Mountain dog park

Cobb PARKS recently reopened Sweat Mountain dog park after a few weeks of renovation.
Inside Sweat Mountain Park, 4346 Steinhauer Road, Marietta, the dog park is Cobb County’s first off-leash dog park, opening in October 2006.
There is an area for large dogs and an area for smaller dogs weighing 30 pounds or less.
The park also has benches for the dog owners to sit and enjoy watching their pets play.
Other county dog parks are:
- Pitner Road Dog Park, 2450 Pitner Road, Acworth (Note: The park will be closed on May 1 for repaving and should reopen on May 2.)
- Sweetwater Park, 2447 Clay Road, Austell.
