Cobb’s new District 4 commissioner to be sworn in

Lisa Cupid, Cobb County’s newly elected District 4 commissioner, will be sworn into office 2 p.m. Friday at the county’s headquarters, 100 Cherokee St., Marietta. Cupid, who will represent south Cobb, beat incumbent Woody Thompson in an August runoff election, earning almost 76 percent of the vote.
