Potential first-time homebuyers are invited to a free workshop on Saturday in Marietta.

The workshop is hosted by Cobb Extension and CredAbility, a nonprofit credit counseling and education organization. Participants will receive information about budgeting and credit, down payment assistance, the loan and real estate processes, insurance and inspection. Participants will also receive a HUD-approved certificate for completing the course.

The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cobb Extension office, 678 S. Cobb Drive.
