Cobb gets $2.78 million grant to help job seekers

A program that helps job seekers in Cobb has received three grants totalling $2.78 million to help people find jobs and employment services.

CobbWorks will receive funds from the Georgia Department of Economic Development Workforce Division to provide employment services and on the job training. The Cobb program at 463 Commerce Park Drive, Marietta expects to help 226 adult workers, 249 dislocated workers and up to 500 persons in a rapid response program.
