Cobb easements granted for sidewalks, power poles

Four easements were approved Aug. 16 by the Cobb County Board of Education.

All at no cost to the Cobb County School District, they are for:

Cobb County Department of Transportation to install sidewalks along Nichols Road at Vaughan Elementary School.
Georgia Power to install a new power pole and transformer to route existing power lines to portable classrooms at Brown Elementary School.
Greystone Power to install a new power pole and transformer to route existing power lines to portable classrooms at Nickajack Middle School.
Georgia Power to install a new power pole and transformer to route existing power lines to portable classrooms at Griffin Middle School.
