UPDATE: Joshua Ryan was found and is no longer missing.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Cobb County man left home last week to sell a gift card to make some extra Christmas money. That was Thursday, and he hasn't returned.

Kimberly Ryan said she last heard from her husband, Joshua, on Thursday night.

“He went out to do something for his kids and he got jumped for it,” she told Channel 2 Action News.

Joshua Ryan, 38, told his wife he was heading out to meet a man to sell a restaurant gift card. He wanted to raise a bit of money for gifts for their three kids: a newborn son, and two girls, ages 1 and 3.

“My husband’s one of those trustworthy guys,” Kimberly Ryan said.

She said she didn’t ask her husband where he was going, and he never came home.

His phone died Saturday, and she hasn’t heard from him since, Channel 2 reported.

He missed his mother’s birthday Sunday.

“So my concern is he’s just hurt somewhere alone, not able to move, and that’s what’s worrying me the most,” she said.
