The Cobb County Board of Commissioners agreed 4-0-1 Tuesday to grant rezonings for several businesses.
Commissioner Lisa Cupid was absent.
No one from the public voiced opposition.
Town Square MB One will be allowed to open retail, office and restaurant spaces at the southeast intersection of Kennesaw Due West Road and Due West Road.
Teague Investments and Blairs Bridge Storage will open a three-story, climate-controlled self-storage facility, also with RV and boat storage, on the north side of Blair Bridge Road, north of I-20.
Two acres are in Cobb, and the other three are in Douglas County which have been zoned already for self-storage.
Gary Tillman and Allen Kennedy will open a contractor’s office at 1868 Old Concord Road.
Michael Hamby will open a heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) office at 2400 Church Road.
Owner Jefferson Lakeside LP and David C. Kirk of Verizon Wireless were granted a special land use permit to expand the lease area and placement of antennas at 2085 Roswell Road.
KCMA Corp. and owner LIT/Hodges Industrial Trust received a land use permit renewal for two temporary storage tents at 2140 Barrett Park Drive.
