The City Farmers Market on Buford Highway in Chamblee is busy with shoppers.

Less than a year after a Snellville Kroger closed, the building will be back open for business, this time as a City Farmers Market location.

Signage for the new market was up as of Feb. 22. The new location, at 4002 Highway 78 in Snellville, is advertised as “coming soon” on the grocer’s website.

City Farmers Market’s flagship location is on Buford Highway in Chamblee, with a second location in Brookhaven, also on Buford Highway. The market is known for having a wide selection of produce and ingredients often used in Asian and Hispanic cuisines.

An official opening date has not yet been announced.
