Ball Ground Summerfest

Ball Ground Summerfest 2016 by the Ball Ground Lions Club is 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. today, noon-5 p.m. Sunday. 210 Valley St., downtown Ball Ground, Cherokee County. 2016 Music Row Country Breakout Independent Artist of the Year Erica Nicole, 5K run, car show, helicopter rides. Butterfly festival in Roswell

Flying Colors Butterfly Festival at the Chattahoochee Nature Center is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today, noon-5 p.m. Sunday. $8 to $12, free for children ages 2 and under with free shuttle bus service from St. Francis School near Willeo/Azalea Road at Ga. 120. 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell. Rabies clinic in Paulding County

Rabies Clinic. 2-5 p.m. today. $10, cash only. Paulding County Senior Center, 54 Industrial Way N., Dallas. Bring two completed rabies certificates for each animal. Hydrangea festival in Douglas County
