‘Bring One for the Chipper’ in Roswell

“Bring One for the Chipper” event by Keep Roswell Beautiful. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Roswell residents are invited to bring their Christmas trees to one of the two Home Depot locations in Roswell:

Trees will be chipped into mulch and available for delivery to the public by Davey Tree. Residents are asked not to drop off trees before Saturday. Participants also will receive a special gift while supplies last. Keep Roswell Beautiful has joined with sponsors The Home Depot, 11 Alive, The Davey Tree Expert Company and the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation to sponsor the Bring One for the Chipper program as a part of a statewide effort to reuse Christmas trees. Woodstock Christmas tree recycling. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Free, including tree seedlings, coffee and donuts. Rope Mill Park, 690 Olde Rope Mill Park Road, Woodstock. No decorations, stands or flocked trees will be accepted since flocked and painted trees are poisonous to the river and animals in the park. This Bring One for the Chipper event is sponsored by the Keep Georgia Beautiful campaign and the city of Woodstock Stormwater Department.
