If you’ve never been to Stone Mountain Park – and even if you have – this GoPro video will make you wish you were there now.
Stone Mountain provides some of the best views in the metro Atlanta area, as well as being a landmark of Southern history.
There are 15 miles of hiking trails, including a one-mile walk-up trail to the top of the mountain. To the west you will see the skyline of Atlanta, and on a clear day you can see the mountains of north Georgia.
One quick way to see the views is to take The Summit Skyride, a high-speed Swiss cable car that can get you up the mountain in minutes – much like this stunning timelapse video.
