A Cobb County store clerk narrowly escaped serious injury Thursday when an SUV crashed through the window.

The incident was the second in two days where a car went through a business window.

Three people were injured Wednesday in East Point when a car crashed through a restaurant window. The driver in that incident was arrested on a reckless driving charge, police said.

Junior Patel told Channel 2 Action News he was behind the counter at Big Shanty Superette on Main Street in Kennesaw when a BMW X5 drove right into the building.

"Car started rolling a little bit and next thing you know, it's in the store," Patel told the news station.

Police say the driver forgot to put the car in park, and then hit the wrong pedal when she tried to stop the car from rolling.

Patel said he worried about the driver, who fell on the floor and looked injured. He called 911.

"Luckily she didn't get hurt,” Patel said. “I didn't get hurt. We're all blessed, thank God, but we've got a lot of cleaning up to do."

No one was injured in the crash.
