Clayton County Water Authority’s Wastewater Collection System has once again been recognized as one of the best in the state after recently earning the Georgia Association of Water Professionals Wastewater Collection System Gold Award. Water authority employee recently received a 2012 Collection System Gold Award for earning a quantitative inspection score of 95 or higher. CCWA scored 99.1. This is the second consecutive year CCWA has earned the Gold Award. Prior to the creation of GAWP’s Gold Award, Clayton water authority’s Wastewater Collection System was named Collection System of the Year for Large Systems in 2005, 2007 and 2010.
