Clayton to hold firearm safety session June 29

The Clayton County Board of Commissioners will present a Firearms Safety and Awareness program June 29 from 10 a.m. to noon in the commissioners’ board room, 112 Smith St., Jonesboro. The presentation will focus on basic safety rules and cover topics such as children and guns, storage and Georgia laws. The presentation is for anyone considering becoming a gun owner or gun owners who need to brush up on rules and laws. No personal firearms are permitted. Registration is required.
