Clayton County schools will host its first community meeting of the new school year.

​The Clayton County Public Schools Superintendent of Schools, Morcease J. Beasley, will host the first Critical Conversation meeting for the 2018-19 school year, according to a press release. The purpose of the meeting is to engage all stakeholders as it is the responsibility of a school district to work collaboratively within the community to ensure the success of all children.

Clayton County community and school stakeholders will have an opportunity to receive information regarding the school district’s priorities, goals and strategic plans for the upcoming school year.

The meeting will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 ​at the Virginia Burton Gray Recreation Center, 1475 E. Fayetteville Road in Riverdalea​. The meeting will available for viewing via live stream on the CCPS district website,
