Clayton County invites residents to court, community conversations

Clayton County residents who’ve had questions about the county court system are invited to come to the April installment of Court and Community Conversations 2 to 4 p.m. April 12 at the Harold Banke Justice Center, 9151 Tara Boulevard, Jonesboro.

Superior and State Court judges of Clayton County will answer questions such as:

• What is the Judicial Code of Conduct and how does it affect me?
• What is really going on with jury duty?

Participants must fill out an application to attend.

The event is open to Clayton County residents with no open civil or criminal casses in any Georgia court.

Applicants must not be a relative of anyone with an open civil or criminal case in Clayton County.

Applicants may not be a convicted felon who has not had his/her rights restored.
