Cities to present findings of Winters Chapel Road study

A Community Meeting to present findings of the Winters Chapel Road study will be held at 7 p.m. April 30 at Congregation Beth Shalom, 5303 Winters Chapel Rd. The joint study, undertaken between Peachtree Corners and Dunwoody, seeks to find ways to improve the safety and aesthetics of the two and a half-mile corridor from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Spalding Drive.

Pond & Co., based in Peachtree Corners, was selected for the work. Improvements such as adding sidewalks where there are none, widening sidewalks, identifying areas to add crosswalks for pedestrian safety, adding street furniture, street lights, pocket parks, etc. are among the improvements to be presented.
