A Chinese restaurant in Cobb County failed a health inspection on Tuesday after officials found numerous violations.

Hong Kong Star Chinese Cuisine in Marietta scored a 61 after officials noted food improperly stored, separated and labeled, according to the report.

The report also says wiping cloths, utensils, equipment and linens were improperly stored, dried and handled.

Representatives from the restaurant told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the infractions were the result of putting items in the wrong locations.

It was "unintentional," they said, adding that they aim to do everything "by the books."

Hong Kong Star Chinese Cuisine said they have asked health inspection officials to reinspect the restaurant.
