Many metro Atlanta residents woke up to frost on their cars Saturday morning, but a mild warm-up is headed our way.

The day began with temperatures in the upper 20s in some areas, but there are no signs of more frost in the forecast – at least for the rest of this week.

Severe Weather Team 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz says Saturday will remain sunny and chilly as temperatures climb to the low 60s.

Temperatures will fall into the 40s Saturday night. Sunday will start off in the 40s, and temperatures in the metro area will continue to climb, sparking a warming trend into the 70s by Monday.
