Cherokee sets back-to-school clinics
The Cherokee County Health Department has set two back-to-school health clinics for next month, during which required hearing, dental, vision and BMI/nutrition screenings will be offered for a flat fee of $40.
In addition, immunizations will be offered for school-age children, with a charge for vaccines imposed. Medicaid and some other forms of insurance will be accepted.
The clinics are set for: 2-6 p.m. July 21 at the Canton health center, 1219 Univeter Road, and 2-6 p.m. July 28 at the Woodstock center, 7545 North Main St. More information: 770-345-7371 (Canton) or 770-928-0133 (Woodstock).
