A Roswell man has been indicted on two counts of kidnapping in Cherokee County.

Darin Michael Czech, 43, was arrested in late December, shortly after a 42-year-old Acworth woman claimed Czech held her and her 6-year-old daughter against their will overnight at an Atlanta hotel. Sheriff’s investigators said at the time the victims were not harmed and were dropped off at a MARTA station the following day. The Acworth woman said Czech had been staying with them for a few days.

Czech was subsequently arrested at an apartment complex off Holcomb Bridge Road after a resident recognized him from news reports. He remains in the Cherokee County jail and is set to be arraigned next month.
