Cherokee County invites residents to a public interest meeting Tuesday evening on “keeping Cherokee Clean, Green and Beautiful.”

“Participants will have an opportunity to provide input on forming a community-driven cleanup initiative sponsored by Cherokee County,” according to an event flyer. The meeting is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. in the Bridge Mill Fire Station Community Room, 9550 Bells Ferry Road, Canton.

To ensure social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance will be limited to 25 persons, the county said. Face masks are encouraged, and anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms is asked not to attend. To RSVP: tdbraize@cherokeega.com
