Police arrested two suspects Friday in connection with a carjacking and bank robbery in Woodstock.

According to Channel 2 Action News, the suspects allegedly carjacked a man in the parking lot of the Lowe’s home improvement store in Woodstock around 10:30 a.m., drove his car to the nearby Cherokee Bank and staged a robbery.

The suspects fled and abandoned the car about six blocks away, where they stole another vehicle and fled.

Georgia State Patrol troopers stopped the car on I-75 near I-285 in Cobb County and arrested the suspects, Channel 2 said. The suspects were turned over to Cherokee authorities.
