Peachtree Parkway/Ga.141 in front of the Peachtree Corners Town Center will not be closed this weekend as first planned.
The bridge, which has been under construction for several months, required lane closures and detours the evening of June 5 through a large part of the accompanying weekend to install the bridge span across Peachtree Parkway between The Forum shopping center and Town Center.
City officials previously reported a second weekend of lane closures would be needed to pour the bridge deck and install side panels.
For now, additional work needs to be done before the bridge side panels can be installed.
When rescheduled, drivers will detour using Medlock Bridge Road and Peachtree Corners Circle for both northbound and southbound traffic.
