A driver escaped injury Monday morning when he lost control of his car and slammed into two DeKalb County homes, setting one on fire.
The incident happened before 10 a.m. on Allgood Circle.
The Pontiac GTO careened through a yard and clipped a house before slamming into a second house.
DeKalb fire Capt. Halani Lobdell said the car struck a gas line on the side of the second home, setting that house on fire.
The driver, identified as 19-year-old Keion Porter, was unhurt and was able to get out of the car before fire crews arrived to douse the flames, Channel 2 Action News reported.
A woman inside the house that caught fire was also able to get out without injury.
Porter was charged with failure to maintain lane and expired registration, Channel 2 said.
