Candy and cigarette seller shot in southeast Atlanta

Oct 16, 2013A southeast Atlanta man was in critical condition Wednesday after being shot inside his Thomasville Heights apartment.
The shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Thomasville Boulevard, according to Atlanta police dispatchers.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the victim sold candy and cigarettes out of his apartment, and that robbery was possibly the motive in the shooting.
When the victim answered an early-morning knock on his door, the gunman forced his way into the apartment, a fight broke out and the victim was shot, according to Channel 2.
Police have made no arrests.
