A southeast Atlanta man was in critical condition Wednesday after being shot inside his Thomasville Heights apartment.
The shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Thomasville Boulevard, according to Atlanta police dispatchers.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the victim sold candy and cigarettes out of his apartment, and that robbery was possibly the motive in the shooting.
When the victim answered an early-morning knock on his door, the gunman forced his way into the apartment, a fight broke out and the victim was shot, according to Channel 2.
Police have made no arrests.
