Smash-and-grab burglars struck a pizza restaurant right across the street from Atlanta City Hall early Monday.

The burglary occurred about 4:10 a.m. at Mama Mia's Pizzaria, in the City Plaza mixed-use development on Central Avenue near Mitchell Street.

Owner George Gholami said the burglars smashed a glass door with a brick, then made off with three 64-inch flat-screen televisions.

The burglars tried to remove a fourth TV from the wall but left without it, Gholami said.

He said there is video surveillance in the restaurant but not in the area hit by the burglars.
