Police from three Gwinnett County agencies are searching for a trio of masked thieves who broke into multiple Publix stores between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

The group of burglars stole tobacco products and cash from two Publix locations in Lawrenceville and one in Duluth. The stores are in the jurisdictions of Gwinnett County, Lawrenceville and Duluth police departments.

The first burglary occurred on Dec. 26 at the store on 3780 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Duluth. The second and third both occurred on Dec. 30. First, the burglars broke into the 4850 Sugarloaf Parkway store about 2:10 a.m. Shortly after, they burglarized the 3370 Sugarloaf Parkway location.

The suspects include two men and one person whose gender police have not determined. All three wore dark clothes, black ski masks and white gloves during the thefts.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
