Bullying -- an increasingly difficult topic for teens to deal with -- will be the focus of the Marietta-Roswell Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s annual Teen Forum. The event is from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the South Cobb Recreation Center, 875 Six Flags Dr. in Austell.

The forum, “A Time for PEACE: Parents Encouraged And Children Empowered,” will lead students through a day’s worth of educational and interactive workshops focusing on topics like anti-bullying, cyber bullying and conflict resolution.

Monique Rivarde, whose 18-year-old son Bobby Tillman was killed in 2010 by four teenagers in a random attack at a party in Douglasville, will address the teens at the forum.

Online registration closes Thursday, March 15. To register go to: www.dstmrac.com.
