The Brookhaven Zoning Board of Appeals will review ten requests for zoning variances during the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road. While most of the applicants requests involve adjustments being made to family residences, two concern commercial property.
One request, by Michael Breedlove, was to reduce the stream buffer from 75 feet to 25 feet. If granted it will allow erosion repairs and channel stabilization at Kittredge Magnet School at 1663 East Nancy Creek Drive.
Another request, by Alla Yakubova, is to reduce the retaining wall setback from 3.75 feet to a foot and increase retaining wall height from 4 feet to 6 feet for the property at 1267 North Druid Hills Road.
