The Brookhaven City Council voted unanimously to annex the property known as Woodcliff during their meeting Monday.
The council received a recommendation by the Brookhaven Planning Commission to approve annexation and voted to rezone the area to maintain current uses for the property and allow uses authorized by DeKalb County. The area is mostly filled with town homes and condominiums.
The council also approved the city’s application for the 2017 Georgia Department of Transportation Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant and a task order for construction of the Stratfield Drive Drainage Improvements. The work will be done Blount construction for $455,054.85.
