The Brookhaven Planning Commission recently decided to support rezoning the property known as Woodcliff. The property lies to the south of Interstate 85, east of North Druid Hills Road and north of Briarcliff Road. DeKalb County has the area listed as being in Land Lots 152 and 157 in County District 18.
The commission voted to support rezoning of the property to maintain existing uses and to allow county approved uses in consideration of the city’s upcoming vote to annex Woodcliff.
The area is filled mostly with townhomes and condominiums. Discussion of annexation began in 2014, when 88 percent of property owners in Woodcliff initially agreed to annexation by Brookhaven.
