The Brookhaven Parks & Recreation Department will begin renovations on its park tennis courts starting next week. The improvements will begin Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Lynwood Park, 3360 Osborne Road, and Briarwood Park, 2235 Briarwood Way, and will last about three weeks. The renovations include fence work, crack repair, court resurfacing, repair and painting of net posts, netting and court lines. Once the Briarwood and Lynwood courts are completed, renovations will proceed to Ashford Park, 2980 Redding Road, and Murphey Candler Park, 1551 West Nancy Creek Drive.
