Brookhaven Mayor J. Max Davis discussed a number of improvements to the city in his State of the City address last week.

Titled “Where we are, what we are and where we are going,” Davis counted the list of accomplishments to an audience of around 150 residents and city personnel.

He addressed the 10 additional police offices as well as the paving of over eight miles of sidewalks within the last year. Davis also expressed gratitude to city residents for the $6.4 million in non-allocated HOST funds received by Dekalb County.

“We utilize this revenue to make improvements to our parks, roads and sidewalks,” Davis said. “Thank you, Brookhaven taxpayers.”
