Brookhaven may disband parks advisory committee

The Brookhaven City Council will consider a resolution to disband the city’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee during its regular meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road.

In addition to appointing a new member to the Zoning Appeals Board, the city will discuss extending the terms of contracts with Lowe Engineers LLC and Charles Abbott Associates.

There are also two rezoning requests, one from QuikTrip Corp. for a special land use permit to allow a gas station and convenience store which sells beer and wine at 3249 Buford Highway, and another for improvements to property at 1897 North Druid Hills Road.
