The Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA has named a well-known Brookhaven leader its volunteer of the year.

Kim Gokce, the founder of the Cross Keys Foundation, was honored for his work to bring YMCA-managed soccer and educational programs to the area served by Cross Keys High School.

Gokce is also a member of the Governor’s Commission on Brookhaven, a panel helping the new city lay its groundwork
