Starting Wednesday, Feb. 28, the city of Brookhaven permits window will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., to coincide with the expiration of a temporary moratorium on new construction permits.

The early window hours apply to Land Disturbance Permits, Building Permits, Tree Permits, Trade Permits and Interior Renovation Permits. Other applications for non-construction activities, such as business and alcohol licenses, or zoning applications will be accepted during the normal operating hours of Brookhaven City Hall from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

As the first day of the new service hours will coincide with the lifting of the temporary moratorium; coffee, juice, and donuts will be served to Brookhaven permit customers.
