A stalled CSX train is blocking all crossings near Marietta Square, according to police.

The broken down train is blocking most crossings near the square, primarily Whitlock Ave and Powder Springs Street SW.

The police said the train repairs are expected to take over an hour and extend into morning rush hour traffic.

UPDATE: Marietta police announced at 8:22 a.m. that the train has been repaired and the crossing is open to traffic.
