Britt Avenue in Norcross to be closed through 2021

Contractors working to build the new Norcross branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library at Lillian Webb Park have closed Britt Avenue. The street will be closed for the duration of the project which is expected to last between 18 and 24 months.

The new 22,000-square-foot library and parking deck at the corner of Britt Avenue and Buford Highway will replace the existing Norcross branch currently located at Buford Highway. Cooper and Company General Contractors was awarded the contract for the project late last year which includes improvements necessary to nearby roads.
