Bring the kids to Disney Store reopening at Mall of Georgia Saturday
UPDATE: Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be unable to attend the grand opening ceremony Saturday, as their travel plans have been impacted by Hurricane Matthew. Their visit has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Von Maur court. The rest of the grand opening festivities will take place as planned this Saturday.
The Mall of Georgia's Disney Store has been remodeled, and they're celebrating the only appropriate way — with store cast members performing a song at a grand opening attended by the Mouses themselves.
New elements in the store include a "blue Pixie Dust Trail, Magical Trees, Disney Store Theater and Storytelling Neighborhoods featuring Disney, Marvel and Star Wars product statements," according to a release.
Exclusive to the Buford location, guests will find a customized skyline showcasing local landmarks, including Buford City Hall.
The first 500 guests Saturday will receive a free gift and an opportunity to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in the new Von Maur court from noon to 4 p.m.
