Braves fan’s death from fall ruled accident, caused by blunt force
Atlanta Braves fan Gregory Murrey died of blunt force injuries to his head and torso, the Fulton County medical examiner’s office said Monday.
Murrey fell to his death while in the stands Saturday during a Braves game against the New York Yankees at Turner Field. His death was ruled an accident by the medical examiner’s office, which conducted an autopsy.
The medical examiner also said no underlying medical condition was found that contributed to Murrey’s death.
Toxicology results were pending and will not be available for several weeks.
