Braselton received good news this week about their 2015 series of water and sewerage refunding revenue bonds. The Water and Sewer Fund retained an ‘A’ rating from the world’s leading credit rating service.
Standard and Poor’s Ratings Services notified town officials of the rating as multiple loans were refinanced during improved economic conditions. The long-term rating represents “a strong capacity to meet financial commitments,” according to Standard and
Poor’s.
Braselton retained the “A” rating on newly-issued and refinanced bonds approved for its town-wide infrastructure system located in four counties.
Standard and Poor’s is the world’s leading index provider and foremost source of independent credit ratings for more than 150 years.
